Born and raised in Brisbane, I left Australia when I was 20 years old to experience culture shock in Germany. I wanted to learn how to live and work with people of generally different values to my own. Experiencing Germany for five years, across seven cities in four federal states, was just the start to this life-long journey. Connecting with German-speakers in my home city is the next step in my adventure.

Blinky Junior is inspired by the Australian icon Blinky Bill. He represents the Australian personality: enthusiastically happy, a bit mischievous and above all, adventurous!
